What has the star of 1987’s Predator been doing lately? Carl Weathers has been teaching other actors that dreams are worth fighting for.
Carl was recently scheduled to hold a stage fighting workshop in San Francisco, but, in the age of post-9/11 air traffic, was bumped from his flight, and missed the workshop. But, true to his optomistic spirit, Weathers holds no grudge against the airline industry; he happily walked away with $300.
That's our buddy Carl. Always making the most out of a potentially bad situation. That's a lesson he learned during the making of the Showtime movie, Hot Ice, with Anne Archer. Working long hours, and with little time to get a stew on, Carl managed get all he needed at the movie's craft services— some raw veggies, bacon, and Cup-A-Soup. Instant stew.
Recently, Carl has been working with former-psychiatrist-turned-actor, Tobias Fünke. Under Weather's guidance, Fünke has made his dream a reality, landing the part of “Frightened Inmate #2.”
